I am being tested..... As part of my job I have to unpack 110 of 4 different items = lots and lots of cardboard some plastic and a bunch of paper. The paper I can deal with pretty easily as almost every business has a blue recycling bin for paper. However unless I can figure out something pretty quick a very large amount of cardboard will end up in the trash..... they must have a cardboard bin right.... its a law isn't it? I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I'm very tempted to just take it to the recycling bins myself wherever they are. I know what I should do, so why am I so crippled by the thought of asking my supervisor about it... arrgghhh.
Does anyone else feel this bad when something so obviously recyclable gets tossed out in the trash?

DO NOT TOSS IT!!!
In our building you can leave cardboard boxes and such at the service elevators and they will recycle it for you. There is probably something similar in your building.
Tossing it is not an option, on a smaller scale, I might give in but were talking very large amounts of cardboard here.

Im trying to get ahold of the building guy... meanwhile excessive cardboard is piling up.
Ya...I have been known to swallow down my guilt in the name of a rushed schedule. Though I would speak up and ask and not think twice about it. Then it's someone elses guilt.

Talked to someone in maintenance who got me a big bin from the building next door, said they had a cardboard bin, hopefully he meant what I think he meant, as english was not the first language here. Why arent these companies doing cardboard, I'm starting to think I should be collecting cardboard from downtwon buildings....$$$$$$
It's over... none of the buildings around us have cardboard recycling and the best answer I've gotten from someone is 'not to worry, they will deal with it' ... dont know who they are and how they plan on dealing with it, but I will have to assume that maybe someone is smart enough to sort through commercial garbage for at the minimum cardboard.

Here in Sherwood Park I can't put cardboard at the curb on rubish day, unless it's soiled and they will very reluctantly remove it (only after I complain). I've got tons of recycle bins all over the park for our convienance (even clothing, to saly ann). Sherwood Park ROCKS!
I wish that were true here, Calgary needs to pick up its heels and start doing something, I get harrassed by everyone seeing me take that cardboard to the garbage, and yet if everyone feels this way, WHY IS THERE NO !@# FORSAKEN RECYCLING BINS for all these buildings.
Who's fault is this anyway, Calgarys? the Building Super? each company's? or everyone whos not speaking up?
